Frontier Bumpers for Ford F250/F350 Super Duty

Frontier cuts five front-bumper styles for the Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty, each one for a different job. The Xtreme is the lightest, at 161 pounds. The Commercial is a pipe-built work bumper at 280 pounds. The Original, the Sport, and the Pro fall in between. Every one wears Frontier's diamond-plate steel, the raised tread pattern the brand is known for. Out back, the Diamond rear handles the daily work and the Sport rear adds sensor cutouts. A 6.7 Power Stroke bolts to the same steel as a gas truck. Frontier hand-builds these in Texas, one-piece welded under a baked-on powder coat. Free shipping anywhere in the US.

From the Light Xtreme to the Pipe-Built Commercial

The front line runs from the lightest open bumper to a heavy work front. Here is what sets them apart.

Xtreme. The lightest front, 161 pounds, with an open face and contoured upper loops. It is the one line Frontier rates by gauge: an 11-gauge body with a thicker 3/16-inch center. Several are cut for a 20-inch light bar. Start with the Xtreme for the least weight up front.

Original. The heritage diamond-plate front, around 205 pounds. It keeps the factory tow hooks and fog lights, and many fitments take a 20-inch light bar. This is the classic full replacement.

Sport. A diamond-plate front with a center winch mount, added D-ring anchor points, and cutouts for LED cube lights. Reach for the Sport to build a recovery front.

Pro. The Pro Series is the thick one. It sets smooth steel over 3/16-inch diamond plate and welds in a 2-inch receiver up front. Some are cut for cube lights, others for a light bar. Step up to the Pro for a thicker plate and a front receiver.

Commercial. A pipe-built, heavy-duty front at 280 pounds, with its own welded 2-inch receiver. Go Commercial for a fleet or work truck.

The Rear Bumper, With Backup Lights and a Corner Step

Diamond. Frontier's rear wears the same diamond-plate face as the Original front. On 2017 and newer trucks it comes with LED backup lights, a corner assist step on each side, and room for the factory hitch and backup sensors. It runs about 100 pounds. On the older trucks, back to 1999, the backup lights are sold separately.

Sport. The Sport rear adds cube-light cutouts and D-ring anchor points, and it is the rear cut for the parking sensors. Same 3/16-inch diamond plate.

Adaptive Cruise, the Sensors, and the Grille Guard

The newer Super Duty trucks carry more sensors up front, and the Frontier fronts handle them in different ways. Read this before you pick.

Adaptive cruise. This is the one to watch. On the 2017 to 2022 trucks, the Xtreme, Original, and Commercial fronts need the center plate modified to keep it. The Pro front with a light bar loses it entirely. On the 2023 and newer trucks, the Original front holds it with no changes.

Parking sensors and camera. Most of the fronts and rears keep the factory park sensors and the camera. Only the standalone grille guard drops the park sensors.

The grille guard. Frontier also makes a bolt-on grille guard for the Super Duty, its second-largest line after the Original front. It wraps the factory bumper instead of replacing it, weighs about 119 pounds, and clears the factory tow hooks and camera. It is the lighter way to add front-end protection.

From the 1999 Trucks to the Newest Super Duty

Frontier covers the Super Duty from the first 1999 trucks up through the newest body. The Original front and the Diamond rear go the whole way back. The Pro, Sport, and Commercial fronts come in on the newer trucks.

One window is thinner than the rest. On the 2008 through 2010 trucks, the diamond-plate Original front is not in this collection. The Xtreme front and the grille guard cover those three years, and the Diamond rear fits them too.

Find your exact year in the grid above. Every bumper bolts on with no drilling and ships with all the hardware in the box. The heavier fronts want a second set of hands. Frontier backs each bumper for one year against defects in workmanship, materials, and finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Frontier front fits a 2008 to 2010 F250 or F350?

The Xtreme front and the standalone grille guard are cut for the 2008 to 2010 Super Duty. The diamond-plate Original, Pro, Sport, and Commercial fronts are not offered for those three years in this collection. The Diamond rear does fit them.

Will these Frontier bumpers fit an F450 or F550?

Some do. The Xtreme fronts are cut for the F250, F350, and F450. For the full F450 and F550 lineup, see the Frontier F450/F550 bumpers. The F250 and F350 parts on this page are not rated for the wider F450 and F550 frames unless the listing says so.

Do Frontier bumpers work with adaptive cruise and the parking sensors?

Most keep the parking sensors and the camera. Adaptive cruise depends on the year and the front. On the 2017 to 2022 trucks, the Xtreme, Original, and Commercial fronts need the center plate modified to keep it, and the Pro front with a light bar does not support it. The 2023 and newer Original front takes adaptive cruise with no changes. The standalone grille guard does not work with the park sensors.

Every Frontier front and rear for the Super Duty is above. For the same truck in other brands, open the Ford F250/F350 Super Duty bumpers hub. Reinforce your Super Duty with Frontier steel.
