What Fits a 1992-1996 Ford Bronco
Ranch Hand's Legend front bumper is the one that fits, and it covers the 1992-1996 Bronco. The reason is simple. That was the last full-size Bronco, and up front it was the same truck as the 1992-1996 F150. Same frame horns, same sheet metal. So the Legend that fits those F150s, and the F250s of the same years, fits the Bronco too.
This is heavy steel. The face is 4-inch schedule 40 pipe over diamond plate, with a full grille guard wrapping the front. It weighs 253 pounds. A 2-inch receiver sits in the center, the same kind you would use to push a trailer. The finish is black powder coat over a one-piece welded body. It ships with the mounting brackets and instructions, and it goes on with no cutting or drilling.
Most of these trucks came before factory parking sensors and cameras. There is nothing to relocate. The steel bolts to the frame in four places. Ranch Hand has worked Texas steel since 1986, and the Legend is its heaviest series.
Ranch Hand and the Newer Bronco
The Bronco came back in 2021 as a midsize SUV, and there is also the smaller Bronco Sport. Ranch Hand does not make a bumper for either one. They ride on different frames than the old full-size truck, and Ranch Hand has not made steel for them yet. If you have a 2021-or-newer Bronco or a Bronco Sport, the Legend will not fit. See the Ford Bronco page for the brands that build a front bumper for the newer trucks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this Ranch Hand bumper fit my 2021 or newer Bronco?
No. The Ranch Hand Legend front fits the 1992-1996 full-size Bronco only. The 2021-and-newer Bronco and the Bronco Sport are different vehicles on different frames, so it will not bolt on. Check the Ford Bronco collection for brands that build a front bumper for the newer trucks.
The same bumper is listed for the F150 and F250. Will it really fit a Bronco?
Yes. The 1992-1996 Bronco shares its front frame and sheet metal with the F150 and F250 of those years, so Ranch Hand builds one Legend front to fit all three. You can see the same bumper on the Ranch Hand F150 page. Order by your year and it goes on with the included brackets.
Is the Legend hard to install on a Bronco?
Not for fit. It is a direct bolt-on with the brackets and instructions in the box, and no cutting or drilling. The work is the weight. At 253 pounds, plan on a second set of hands or a floor jack to lift it into place. Most owners have it mounted in an afternoon.
