How to Choose a Bumper for Your 2009-2014 Ford F150

Most affordable: Steelcraft 71-11360 Fortis Front Bumper at $1,149. Steelcraft's Fortis line uses 6-gauge steel front, fully welded one-piece construction. 134 lbs, matte black finish, no-winch no-guard. Excludes the SVT Raptor.
Mid-tier: Ranch Hand FSF09HBL1 Summit Front Bumper at $1,745. Two Texas plants push over 40,000 lbs of Ranch Hand steel a day. Diamond-plate steel construction, 223 lbs, black powder coat. Will not fit with a body lift; not receiver-hitch compatible.

What Fits Your 2009-2014 Ford F150
Bumpers on this page cover the 12th-gen Ford F150, P415 platform, 2009 through 2014. The 2011 model year added the 3.5L EcoBoost V6, creating EcoBoost-specific bumper SKUs to handle the new front airflow needs.
If your truck has the optional Reverse Sensing System rear sensors (2011-2014), look for rear SKUs with sensor cutouts. The 12th-gen F150 had no factory front parking sensors, so front bumpers face no factory-sensor concerns.
From 2015, the 13th-gen P552 introduced an all-aluminum body and entirely new mounting. Bumpers here do not cross-fit to 2015 or newer trucks. The earlier 11th-gen P221 (2004-2008) used different mounting too. The 2015 aluminum-versus-steel boundary causes the most wrong-year orders on the F150.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are 2009-2014 F150 bumpers interchangeable across all six model years?
Mostly yes for 2009-2014 base trucks, but post-2011 EcoBoost models need bumpers with EcoBoost airflow cutouts (Hammerhead 600-56-0458 and 600-56-0204 are EcoBoost-specific). The SVT Raptor uses unique front mounting; most non-Raptor SKUs exclude it. Each listing specifies fitment.
Will aftermarket bumpers work with BLIS or Reverse Sensing on a 2009-2014 F150?
BLIS uses rear radar, unaffected by front bumpers. Reverse Sensing sits in the rear bumper, so front swaps leave it intact. If you swap the rear, look for SKUs with sensor cutouts.
Will a heavy steel bumper affect handling on a 2009-2014 F150?
Front bumpers run 134 lbs (Steelcraft Fortis) to 340 lbs (Fab Fours Premium). Added weight on the stock plastic fascia can cause slight nose sag on the IFS suspension. A leveling kit brings the stance back. All three picks bolt on.
