These fronts split into three builds. Pick by the job, not just the price. One note on the specs: with steel gauge, a lower number means thicker metal.

Bumper with a full grille guard. The Ranch Hand Summit FSF111BL1 runs $1,744.95, the value pick here. It is a one-piece welded front bumper built from diamond-plate steel, with a full grille guard made of 4-inch pipe that wraps the grille and headlights. It weighs 230 pounds. It bolts to the factory mounts, keeps your factory tow hooks, and lets you refit the factory fog lights. It will not clear a body lift. Ranch Hand builds it by hand in Texas.

Aluminum, less weight. Ali Arc is an aluminum-alloy specialist, common on fleet and heavy-duty pickups. These fronts are 6061 aluminum, so they cut weight versus steel and shrug off road salt. Three fit these trucks: the FDB278 at $2,769.92, the raked FDR278 at $2,873.28, and the Sentinel FDB278H at $3,605. All three wear a bright polished finish, bolt straight to the frame, and are made to order on about a 10-week lead. None is winch-rated. They suit plow rigs and high-mileage fleet trucks where corrosion resistance beats a winch mount.

Steel, styling or winch. Fab Fours splits into two lines, both cut from American steel in Lancaster, South Carolina. The Vengeance is a styling and lighting front. It is 11-gauge, 125 to 150 pounds, and takes a 20-inch light bar. It runs $2,379.99 with no guard, or $2,569.99 with a pre-runner guard. The Vengeance is not a winch base. For a winch, step up to the Premium: 3/16-inch and 1/4-inch plate, 325 to 375 pounds, rated for winches to 16,500 pounds and built around the Warn 16.5ti. Premium runs $3,809.99 to $4,139.99 by guard level, with D-ring recovery points up front.

Fitment: these fit 2011 through 2016 only

Every bumper here fits the 2011-2016 Ford F450/F550 Super Duty, the third-generation trucks. Two body changes box in that range. In 2011 Ford gave the Super Duty new front sheet metal, so 2008-2010 fronts do not bolt up. In 2017 Ford rebuilt the truck with an aluminum body and a new frame, and the front end grew wider, so a 2016 bumper will not fit a 2017. These trucks came before front cameras and adaptive cruise, so there are no front sensors to work around. The F450 and F550 chassis cab ship with no factory rear bumper, which is why this page is front bumpers only. Confirm your year first, then your build.
