Both Tundras Take the Same Three Front Bumpers

All three are the same bumper below the headlights. Everything that separates them sits above.

Head on, you see mesh across the grille and steel standing in front of each headlight. That build is the Full Guard. Lose the mesh and the headlight steel, keep a single bar across the middle of the grille, and you have the Pre-Runner Guard. Take away everything above bumper height and the No Guard is what remains. Coverage climbs in that order.

You do not order tow hooks separately. Fab Fours packs them with the front bumper. A bolt-on winch tray and D-ring mounts are listed as options, so recovery hardware beyond the hooks is something you add when you want it.

One Thing to Check on Each Tundra

One for the older truck, one for the newer. Both sit up front.

On the 2007-2013 Tundra, Fab Fours limits these front bumpers to certain sub models. It does not publish the list, and it asks buyers to confirm the truck first. Send us your year and trim and we will check it against the part before anything ships. The rear bumper for those years carries no such restriction.

On the 2014-2021 Tundra, the question is your front parking sensors. Toyota calls the system sonar. It was an upper-trim feature, so a Limited, a Platinum or a 1794 Edition is where you are most likely to find it. Check your own truck.

All three give up sensor compatibility, and the listings say so plainly. It is not tied to the shape either, so the No Guard carries the same exclusion as the two guarded builds. On top of that, Fab Fours flags the Full Guard and the Pre-Runner Guard as interfering with the sonar system. The steel goes where the sensors read. If you park by sonar every day, weigh that before you order.

The Rear Bumper and Your Blind Spot Monitor

Out back there is one part per set and nothing to configure. Your hitch does not move. The receiver and its wiring stay on their factory mounts, and you hook up a trailer the way you always have. The rear bumper also works with the factory park sensors on trucks that carry them.

One system does not survive the swap. This rear bumper will not work with Blind Spot Monitoring. That only matters on the newer truck. Toyota brought blind-spot warning to the Tundra with the 2014 update, on the upper trims. A 2007-2013 owner has nothing to lose here. On a 2014-2021 truck that runs it, plan on losing it at the back.

Install is a bolt-on either end. The mounting hardware and the instructions ship in the box, and the kit needs no drilling. The steel is heavy enough that you want a second person for the lift.
