The 2025 Ram 1500 Front Bumper

Hammerhead calls this one its first 10-gauge Recon build. It weighs 80.95 pounds. It sits close to the body in the LowPro shape, with provisions cut for cube LED fog lights.

Gauge and inches measure the same steel from opposite ends. Ten gauge runs about an eighth of an inch. The 3/16-inch plate under most of the older fronts here is roughly 40 percent thicker, and the quarter-inch plate in the rear bumpers is thicker still. Lighter steel up front is the trade you are making.

Two limits sit on this bumper. It has no winch mount. And it rules out ADAS, the driver assist hardware behind your grille, along with the air dam. Skip it if your truck has either one.

This is the only part Hammerhead builds for the 2025 truck so far. No rear bumper, and no winch front.

Front Bumpers for the 2019 Through 2024 Ram

This body gets the widest choice, and on this truck the styles sort by weight. The Low Profile carries no guard at all and starts the list at 121 pounds with no winch tray. The Pre-Runner runs 146, the Formed Guard 146.5 in 11-gauge sheet. Order a winch tray and the numbers climb: 187 for the X-Series, which is what Hammerhead calls its Full Brush Guard, and 200 for the Formed Pre-Runner. Steel over the grille is paid for on the front axle.

One winch front gives you a second option. Hammerhead lists the Low Profile with its own front receiver hitch as a substitute for the winch, and names the Warn models it has verified behind it: the VR8000, M8000, XD9000i, XD9000 and ZEON8.

Three notes cut this list down. If your Ram has adaptive cruise, most of these fronts are out, and the listings that exclude it say so in capital letters. The Rebel and the Ram Warlock edition are excluded from every non-winch front. And all of them rule out the old body style, the Ram 1500 Classic that Ram kept selling next to the new truck through 2024. Read the years and the body on the listing, not the badge on your tailgate.

Good news on the drivetrain. The winch Full Brush Guard and the winch Pre-Runner both name the Ram 1500 Sport and the EcoDiesel as trucks they fit.

What Hammerhead Still Builds for an Older Ram

The 2013 through 2018 truck gets four fronts, two with a winch tray and two without. The lightest is a 132-pound Low Profile. The heaviest is a 189-pound X-Series full brush guard.

The 2009 through 2012 truck gets one front bumper, a 133-pound Low Profile with no winch tray and no front receiver.

The 2003 through 2008 truck gets no front bumper at all. That is a hole in Hammerhead's own catalog, not just this collection. Those years get a rear bumper and nothing up front.

Then the run picks back up at the far end. The 1994 through 2001 trucks get five fronts, three of them winch ready, topping out at a 205-pound full brush guard. Hammerhead lists these same parts for the Ram 2500 and 3500 of that era. It will not guarantee that oversized aftermarket fender flares clear the outer tubes on a full brush guard, and it says so up front.

Rear Bumpers: Flush Mount or Standard

Quarter-inch plate, every one. The first choice back there is the shape.

The flush mount is offered in every era that has a rear bumper at all, from the 1994 truck through the 2024 truck. The standard shape stops after the 2018 truck. Its 2009 through 2018 version is cut for the factory dual exhaust and weighs 138 pounds, the heaviest rear on this page.

After that it comes down to your exhaust and your sensors. The titles name which rears are cut for factory parking sensors and which clear a dual exhaust. On the 2019 through 2024 truck both rears are flush mount, and one of the two takes the dual exhaust.
