Why the EcoBoost Gets Its Own Front Bumper
Ford put the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 in the F150 for 2011. Turbocharged air runs hot, so it passes through the intercooler on the way to the engine. On these trucks that cooler sits at the very front, down low, right behind the bumper. Airflow through that opening is not decoration.
That is why Hammerhead lists separate fronts for these trucks. Both fronts in this collection carry the same manufacturer note: the shape lets more air reach the intercooler. Hammerhead lists the Pre-Runner here for the EcoBoost specifically. The Low Profile is listed for the 2011-2014 F150 across the trim range, EcoBoost or not.
What Separates the Two Front Bumpers
One decision comes first, and it is not the look. Settle whether a winch is going on this truck. Answer that, and the rest follows.
The Low Profile is the one with the winch tray. At 146 pounds it is the lighter of the two, it sits low across the nose with no brush guard, and it holds up to four 3.25 inch cube lights. It is the only front bumper here set up to carry a winch.
The Pre-Runner is the one with the hoop, a steel bar across the center of the grille. It weighs 173 pounds, takes the same four cube lights, and mounts lights on the pre-runner bar as well. It has no winch tray.
At 146 and 173 pounds, both take two people to hang. Hammerhead mounts them through the frame.
The Rear Bumper Does Not Change With the Engine
Nothing about the EcoBoost reaches the back of the truck, and the rear reflects that. The flush mount rear bumper here is the same Hammerhead part listed for any 2006-2014 F150, under one part number. It covers nine model years across two truck bodies, the widest span on this page by far.
It is cut for the factory parking sensors. It is also the thickest steel in this collection, at a quarter inch of plate, and at 120 pounds the lightest piece here, because a rear is simply less steel than a front.

Is the rear bumper different on an EcoBoost F150?
No. The rear bumper in this collection is the same Hammerhead part listed for any 2006-2014 F150, and it is sold under one part number for all of them. The engine sits at the other end of the truck. The EcoBoost distinction only shows up at the front.
Can I get a winch and a Pre-Runner hoop on the same bumper?
Not from these two. The Low Profile is the winch-capable front here and it has no hoop. The Pre-Runner has the hoop and no winch tray. Hammerhead does build a winch-capable Pre-Runner for the 2011-2014 F150, and it sits on the full Hammerhead F150 page rather than in this collection.
Will these fronts clear an aftermarket intercooler?
Hammerhead does not promise it. Its standing note is that it cannot guarantee fitment alongside another manufacturer's parts, so test fit before the final install. Upgraded coolers are common on these trucks, so measure yours against the bumper before you order.
