Start with your Tundra's year
Toyota changed the Tundra's front end in 2014. So Ranch Hand splits its Tundra bumpers on that year.
The 2007-2013 Tundra takes the Summit front and the Sport rear. The 2014-2021 Tundra takes the Summit front, the Midnight front, and the Sport rear. Both are the same Tundra, just before and after the 2014 update.
The 2022 and newer Tundra is a different truck. Toyota rebuilt it from the ground up, and Ranch Hand has no bumper for it yet, front or rear. If you drive a 2022, 2023, or 2024 Tundra, nothing here will bolt up.
Up front: Summit or Midnight
On the 2007-2013 Tundra, the front bumper is the Summit. On the 2014-2021 Tundra, you choose between the Summit and the Midnight.
The Summit is the full-coverage front. It wraps a steel grille guard over the grille and around the headlights, so a low limb or an animal meets steel instead of your sheet metal. On the 2007-2013 trucks it weighs about 228 pounds and keeps the factory fog light and tow hook in place. Go with the Summit if you want the most front protection.
The Midnight is the blacked-out front, for the 2014-2021 Tundra only. It wears a blackout finish over the whole bumper. You run it one of two ways: with a grille guard, or without one for a lower, cleaner face. The steel is the same on both. Go with the Midnight if you want the blacked-out look, guard or no guard.
Both fronts are heavy steel and ship by freight. Plan on a few hours, and bring a helper to lift one on.
On the electronics, some 2014-2021 trucks have radar cruise control. On those, you move the radar module onto a bracket Ranch Hand includes. The Midnight keeps your factory front sensors with its inserts.
The Summit has two fit limits. On 2014-2021 trucks it does not fit the Limited trim. On a 2007-2013 Limited, it fits but needs a cut to the plastic bumper. It also will not fit a truck with a body lift.
Out back: the Sport rear
The rear bumper is the Sport, and it fits both the 2007-2013 and the 2014-2021 Tundra. It sits lower and cleaner than a full replacement, with backup lights set into the steel. It bolts on, weighs less than the front bumpers, and the hardware comes packed in the box. Ranch Hand builds all of these in Texas. To line Ranch Hand up against the other brands for this truck, see the Toyota Tundra bumpers page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a Ranch Hand bumper for a 2023 or 2024 Tundra?
No. Ranch Hand covers the 2007-2021 Tundra. Toyota redesigned the Tundra for 2022, so the 2022, 2023, and 2024 trucks need a different bumper, and Ranch Hand does not make one for them yet. For those years, check the other brands on the Toyota Tundra bumpers page.
What is the difference between the Summit and the Midnight?
Coverage and color. The Summit carries a full grille guard that wraps over the grille and around the headlights, so it shields the most up front. The Midnight wears a full blackout finish, and you can add a grille guard to it or leave it off. The Summit fits the 2007-2021 Tundra. The Midnight fits the 2014-2021 Tundra.
Will these bumpers work with my Tundra's parking sensors or radar cruise?
Yes, with the parts in the box. The Midnight keeps your factory front sensors using its inserts. On a 2014-2021 Tundra with radar cruise control, you move the radar module onto a bracket Ranch Hand supplies. One trim note: the Summit does not fit the Limited on 2014-2021 trucks, and on a 2007-2013 Limited it needs a cut to the plastic bumper.
