This Publicity Waiver & Release (the "Release") applies to every build, photo, video, and entry you submit to BumperStock through the "Our Builds" page and to the "Build of the Quarter" contest (the "Contest"). Please read it carefully. By submitting an entry and checking the consent box, you agree to this Release.
1. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older and who have purchased a bumper from BumperStock and installed it on their own vehicle. Employees of BumperStock and their immediate families are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited.
2. How to enter
Submit your build through the form on the Our Builds page. A complete entry includes your name, a valid email address, your vehicle make and model, the order number (or a link to the product) for the bumper you purchased from BumperStock, and at least three clear photos of your vehicle with the bumper installed. You may also add a short walkaround video. Entries that are incomplete, cannot be verified against a real BumperStock order, or are not your own work may be rejected.
3. One order, one entry
Each qualifying order may be entered once. If you have purchased more than one bumper from BumperStock, you may submit a separate entry for each order. Additional entries put more of your builds in front of the judges. They do not increase the chance of any single entry winning, because winners are chosen on merit and not by random drawing (see Section 4).
4. How winners are chosen
Winners are selected by the BumperStock team on the merit of the build. Judging considers the quality of the work, the fit and finish of the installation, and the overall presentation of the photos and video. Winners are not chosen by random drawing or chance. The decisions of the BumperStock team are final.
5. Prize
Each quarter, the strongest build receives $250 in BumperStock store credit, a feature in the Our Builds gallery, and possible use across BumperStock email and social media. A qualifying walkaround video adds $50 in store credit to the prize. The prize is awarded as store credit only and has no cash value. Store credit is not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred. The winner is responsible for any taxes that may apply to the prize.
6. Grant of rights (publicity and media release)
By submitting an entry, you grant BumperStock and its agents a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, and sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, display, and distribute the photos, video, build details, and any vehicle and bumper shown in your entry, together with your first name, city, and state, for any advertising, marketing, promotional, editorial, social media, email, and commercial purpose, in any media now known or later developed.
You agree that BumperStock may use this content without any payment to you, without further notice, and without any further review or approval by you. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished materials. You also waive any claim based on rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or similar rights in connection with BumperStock's permitted use of your content.
7. Your warranties
You represent and warrant that the build and all photos and video you submit are your own, that you own or control all rights in the content you submit, and that you have the right to grant the license in Section 6. You confirm that the content does not infringe the rights of any third party and that any people shown in the content have consented to its use as described in this Release.
8. No obligation to use
Submitting an entry does not guarantee that BumperStock will use your content or that you will win a prize. BumperStock has no obligation to use, publish, or feature any entry.
9. Release and indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless BumperStock and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or related to your entry, the use of your content as permitted by this Release, or your participation in the Contest. You agree to indemnify BumperStock against any third-party claim arising from a breach of your warranties in Section 7.
10. General
BumperStock may modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest, or update this Release, at any time. The Contest is run solely by BumperStock and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any vehicle manufacturer, bumper brand, or social media platform. If any part of this Release is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This Release is governed by the laws applicable where BumperStock operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
