Other than slightly trimming the valance on your vehicle the “no grind/no drill” installation of this product can be completed in record time. ABOUT THE DEFENDER GRILLE GUARD

KEEP YOUR
FACTORY BUMPER.

The Defender is a grille guard, not a bumper. It mounts over the factory front bumper, so nothing is replaced. The uprights are 1/4 inch steel, with 1.25 inch tube wrapping out to both corners, and mesh panels shield the grille from gravel and road debris. Fitting takes light trimming of the plastic valance under the bumper, nothing more. On the Ford and Ram fitments a winch mount is sold separately. Fit that mount and a winch and your adaptive cruise stops working, which Hammerhead states plainly.
