The Front Bumper Fits the 2015 to 2020 Colorado
Every Premium front bumper here fits the 2015 to 2020 Colorado, and every one is built the same. It is 3/16-inch steel on a two-piece mount you can adjust, so it lines up true to the body. Each one holds a winch up to 10,000 pounds. Fab Fours molds the lights into the steel face: a 90mm fog lamp and a 60mm turn signal per side. Both come with the bumper. A 7/8-inch D-ring mount sits on each side for recovery. A two-stage black powder coat finishes the steel.
One thing changes across the three builds: how much steel stands over the grille. The No Guard leaves the grille open, the lowest and cleanest of the three. The Pre-Runner adds a single steel bar across the center of the grille, headlights left open, and that bar holds a light. The Full Guard wraps the grille and the headlights in steel, the most coverage of the three. Pick by how much steel you want out front. Everything behind it, the winch mount, the lights, and the D-rings, is the same on all three.
Two limits apply to every front here. None works with front parking sensors, so a Colorado with front sonar loses that reading behind the steel. And none fits the ZR2, which wears its own wider off-road face. Gas and diesel trucks fit the same, so a 2.8-liter Duramax is fine. Check your truck for front sensors before you order.
The Rear Bumper Crosses Into the 2021 and 2022 Trucks
The rear bumper reaches further than the front. There are two rears, both formed from 3/16-inch steel. Both keep your factory receiver hitch and its wiring, so towing stays the same. Both build a step into each side above the tailgate for bed access.
The two rears split on sensors and years. One is the non-sensor rear, and it fits the 2015 to 2020 Colorado. The other is sensor-compatible. It keeps your rear park assist working, and it fits from 2015 through 2022. That sensor rear is the one that reaches the refreshed 2021 and 2022 trucks. If you drive a 2021 or 2022 Colorado, it is the Premium bumper for you.
On a 2015 to 2020 truck, pick the rear by your sensors. Have rear park assist and want to keep it? Take the sensor rear. No rear sensors? The non-sensor rear does the same job.
Install, and the Trucks This Collection Skips
Every bumper here bolts on. The brackets tie to the factory mounts, so there is no cutting or welding. The steel is heavy, so line up a helper for the lift. The winch is not included. You add your own.
A few Colorados fall outside this collection. The Premium front stops at the 2020 body, so a 2021 or 2022 truck runs only the sensor rear. The ZR2 takes its own off-road steel. And the 2023 Colorado is a full redesign, a new truck we do not cover here. For the fronts and rears that fit those trucks, across every line we carry, start at the Chevy Colorado bumper hub.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get a Premium front bumper for a 2021 or 2022 Colorado?
No. The Fab Fours Premium fronts fit the 2015 to 2020 Colorado. Chevy refreshed the truck for 2021, and the Premium front stays with the earlier body. For a 2021 or 2022 Colorado, the sensor-compatible rear bumper is the only Premium piece that fits. Fab Fours does build 2021 and 2022 Colorado fronts in its Vengeance line.
Do the fog and turn lights come with the Premium front?
Yes. Fab Fours molds the light housings into the steel face and includes a 90mm fog lamp and a 60mm turn signal on each side with the front bumper. The winch is the one piece you add yourself. Every Premium front holds a winch up to 10,000 pounds.
I have a GMC Canyon, not a Colorado. Is there a Premium bumper for it?
Yes. The GMC Canyon is the Colorado's twin, and Fab Fours builds the same Premium steel for it. See the Fab Fours Premium GMC Canyon bumpers for the front and rear that fit the Canyon.
