The Front Bumper: Winch-Ready in Three Shapes

Every Premium front bumper here is 3/16-inch steel in a two-stage black powder coat. The winch plate is rated to 12,000 pounds, with one-inch D-ring mounts beside it. The two-piece mount adjusts, and that is how a 300-pound bumper ends up sitting level. Fab Fours also packs its 90-millimeter fog and 60-millimeter turn lights with every front, molded into the housings.

The shapes differ in how much steel stands over the grille. Want the most metal between the grille and the trail? The Full Guard cages the grille and the headlights in vertical uprights. It is the heaviest build, 320 to 340 pounds. Rather keep the factory face and just gain the winch? The No Guard build is the bumper alone, low and open, at an even 300 pounds. The Pre-Runner sits between them, one bar in front of the grille with the headlights untouched.

The Sensor Question Splits the Front Bumper Lineup

On a 2014 or 2015 Sierra, each shape comes in two builds. The sensor build keeps the factory park assist working in the new steel. The non-sensor build skips that and runs a little cheaper. The 2016-2018 trucks skip the choice, one build per shape, with the same sensor provision. One note straight from Fab Fours: sensor testing is done on lifted trucks. A shackle left in the winch fairlead can register as an obstacle too. Plan on some tuning at stock height.

A Rear Bumper for Every Sierra Body Since 2007

This collection has a rear bumper for four generations of the truck: 2007-2013, 2014-2018, 2019-2021, and the refreshed body GMC rolled out in mid-2022. That refresh year is the one to read carefully. GMC sold two Sierras in 2022. The early Limited kept the old body, so it takes the 2019-2021 rear bumper rather than the newest one.

The sensor story runs finer out back than up front. The 2007-2013 rear bumper comes in a non-sensor build only. The 2014-2018 truck picks sensor or non-sensor. The 2019-2021 rear keeps your parking sensors but not blind-spot monitoring. The newest-body rear is the first one here that keeps blind-spot monitoring too.

None of them touches your towing: the factory receiver and its wiring stay right where GM put them. Recovery points are 3/4-inch D-ring mounts at each corner. Steps sit on either side of the tailgate on most of them, so the bed stays easy to reach. Figure 190 to 200 pounds of 3/16-inch steel per rear bumper, in the same powder coat as the fronts. Install is a bolt-on job at either end, factory mount points, hardware in the box. Bring a helper, the steel is heavy, and freight delivery wants a clear spot.
