Order the Right Front Bumper for Your Year

Chevy changed the Silverado's front end more than once, so the Vengeance front bumper comes in five year blocks: 2007-2013, 2014-2015, 2016-2018, 2019-2021, and 2022-2025. Order by your exact year and the bumper meets the factory mounts. It fits any cab and box on that year.

Two model years are traps. In 2019, and again in 2022, Chevy sold two different trucks under one year. Each had an all-new body and a carryover, badged LD in 2019 and Limited in 2022. They do not take the same bumper. Read your truck's body, not just the year on the door.

Set Up the Look and the Sensors

Every Vengeance front comes two ways. Owners who want the front end clean and low run the open bumper, a smooth steel bar with no hoop. Owners after a desert-runner stance add the pre-runner guard, a raised hoop over the center that also stacks more lights. Both are 11-gauge steel, about an eighth of an inch thick. That is heavy enough to take a hit and light enough to keep the nose from sagging. The open front weighs about 125 pounds, a few pounds more on the newest sensor version. The pre-runner is about 150. Both hold a 20-inch light bar in the center and cube lights on each side, sold on their own. Neither one takes a winch, so for a winch mount, look to the heavier Fab Fours lines.

The sensors are where Silverado owners slow down. On a 2007-2013 truck there are no front sensors to keep, so each front bumper comes one way. On 2014 through 2021 trucks the front is sensor-ready as built. On 2022 and newer trucks you choose. The sensor version keeps your front parking sensors. The non-sensor version is for trucks without them. Pick the one that fits your truck, in the open or the pre-runner front. All the hardware is in the box, and most builds need no cutting or welding. Figure on a second set of hands for the lift and an hour or two with hand tools.

The Rear Bumper, 2007 Through 2021

Out back, the Vengeance rear bumper covers 2007 through 2021, plus the 2022 Limited carryover body. It is the same 11-gauge steel and keeps the factory receiver hitch and trailer wiring. Each side has a cutout for cube lights or a 6-inch bar. The 2019-2021 rear comes two ways: one reads the factory parking sensors, the other adds blind-spot monitoring for trucks that came with it. Match the rear to what your truck has. On either one, Fab Fours sets the sensor mount for lifted trucks, so a stock-height truck often needs the mount tuned. The front reaches newer trucks than the rears do here, so a refreshed 2022 or newer build can run a Vengeance front from this collection without a matching rear in it.
