The Front Bumper Starts With Your Sensors

Start with one question: does your Ram have front parking sensors? Look at the front for the small round sensor faces low on the bumper. The answer points you to the right front.

The 2019 redesign and newer trucks are the easy case. They take one front bumper, cut to work with the factory sensors. Order it by year and move on.

The 2010-2018 trucks are where it splits. Fab Fours makes a no-sensor front for the whole 2010-2018 run, and a separate sensor front for the 2016-2018 trucks that came with front park assist. See the sensors up front? Order the 2016-2018 sensor front. Bare bumper, no sensors? The 2010-2018 front fits, any year in that span.

Diesel makes no difference here. The Cummins 2500 and 3500 take the exact front the gas trucks do. And no Vengeance front mounts a winch. That is not what this line is for.

Run It Bare or Add the Hoop

Every Vengeance front comes two ways, and the difference is the look.

The no-guard front keeps the nose open and low, a clean bar pulled tight to the body. Down low, an open cutout brings airflow and makes room for larger tires. It weighs about 125 pounds.

The pre-runner front adds a hoop across the center, the look of a truck set up for the desert. It holds more light up high and weighs about 150 pounds.

Run it open and you keep the bare, modern face and a little less weight. Add the hoop and you gain the high light mounts and the aggressive stance. Both are 11-gauge US steel under a two-stage black powder coat. Steel gauge counts down as the plate gets thicker, so 11-gauge lands in the working range, heavier than your factory bumper and lighter than a quarter-inch winch plate. There is room for a 20-inch bar in the center, plus a pair of cube lights on each side, and the lights are extra. Each one is a bolt-on with its own frame brackets. The hardware is the easy part; the weight is not, so plan on two people for the lift.

The Rear Bumper Keeps the Hitch, Not the Camera

Two rear bumpers cover the same span as the fronts. One fits the 2010-2018 trucks, the other the 2019 redesign and up. Both run about 150 pounds in the same 11-gauge steel.

Both keep your factory trailer hitch and its wiring, so you tow exactly as before. Each side has cutouts for lights, sold separately, and both leave room for the factory parking sensors.

One limit to know before you order. Neither rear makes room for a factory bumper-mounted backup camera. If your Ram reads its rear camera through the bumper, that view goes away once the Vengeance is on. And the sensor mounts come aimed for a lifted truck, so on a stock-height Ram, plan to adjust them so the sensors read right.
