How to Choose Your Ranch Hand Bumper for the Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty

Ranch Hand fits the F250 and F350 Super Duty with four series. Each one does a different job.

Legend. Ranch Hand's heaviest steel, and the front bumper that covers nearly every Super Duty from 1999 to 2026, built from 4-inch steel pipe and diamond-plate at about 318 lbs with a 2-inch receiver. On 2017-2022 trucks there is a camera-ready version for adaptive cruise, and a lower-cost Legend Bullnose front is offered for 2017-2026. A Legend rear is available for the 1999-2007 trucks and again for 2017-2026. Pick Legend if your Super Duty earns its keep and you want the most steel on the nose.

Summit. The lighter diamond-plate front, sold for 2011-2026 Super Duty trucks at about 288 lbs. It keeps the factory parking sensors, and the 2017-2022 version has a camera-ready option for adaptive cruise. Pick Summit when you want a full front bumper that costs and weighs less than the Legend.

Sport. Sport is where the Super Duty gets a winch. The Sport front (2011-2026) is winch-ready up to a 16,500 lb winch, in 1/4-inch formed steel and diamond-plate at about 276 lbs, with a grille-guard option. Sport also makes the rear bumper for 2008-2026, with factory light cutouts (lights sold separately). Pick the Sport front when you need a winch for recovery, or the Sport rear to guard the back end. The rear does not fit the F350 cab-and-chassis body.

Midnight. The blacked-out series for 2017-2022 Super Duty trucks, in 7-gauge steel (with steel, a lower gauge number means thicker metal) with a black powder coat. The front carries a grille guard at about 189 lbs and has a matching rear, and removable inserts handle the factory camera and sensors. Pick Midnight if you run a 2017-2022 Super Duty and want the dark, low-key look.

On a Super Duty build, a Legend or Sport front with a matching rear is the common pairing, and many of these bumpers also fit the F450 and F550.
