The front bumper: grille guard, clean face, or blackout
On a Sierra HD, the front bumper is the real choice. Ranch Hand gives you three.
Legend. The full grille-guard front, and the one that spans the most years: the 1988-1998 trucks, then 2003 right through 2026. It is heavy steel with a 2-inch receiver, and it wraps the headlights for corner protection. The early 1988-1998 bumper alone weighs 248 pounds, so plan on freight delivery and a second set of hands. Pick Legend if you want the most steel and a guard on the nose.
Summit. The clean, full-face front with no grille guard, made for the 2015-2019 Sierra HD. At about 232 pounds it is the lighter, lower-cost front. It bolts on the same way, and on a truck with adaptive cruise control the radar module moves to a bracket packed in the box. Pick Summit when you want a full steel front without the guard.
Midnight. The same heavy steel in a blacked-out finish, for the 2015-2019 and 2020-2023 trucks. It carries a grille guard and is the priciest front here. Plan on three to five hours to bolt it on at home, since the factory sensors and wiring move over to the new bumper. Pick Midnight when you want the dark, low-key look.
The rear bumper: light, heavy-duty, or blacked out
Ranch Hand makes three rears for the Sierra HD, and they split by weight and price.
Sport. The lightest and least expensive rear, and the easiest to handle. It is steel but streamlined, so one person can often mount it. The Sport rear covers the widest span, 2007.5 through 2026. Start here if you just want to guard the back end.
Legend. The heavy-duty rear, for the 2001-2007 and 2011-2014 trucks. It is diamond-plate steel over a 4-inch pipe, tested to 10,000 pounds of towing and a 1,000-pound tongue weight. It keeps the factory fog lights, and a bolt-on receiver is optional. Pick Legend if you tow hard off the back.
Midnight. The blacked-out rear, for the 2015-2019 and 2020-2023 trucks. It matches the Midnight front for a full dark build. Pick it for the look more than for a tow rating.
Find your Sierra HD year
Older Sierra HD, 1988 to 2014. The 1988-1998 trucks take the Legend front. The 2001-2007 trucks get a Legend rear, and a Legend front is offered from 2003. The 2007.5-2010 trucks pair a Legend front with a Sport rear. The 2011-2014 trucks run the Legend front with a Sport or Legend rear. Through all of these years, the Legend front is the through-line.
Newer Sierra HD, 2015 to 2026. The 2015-2019 trucks have the widest choice: a Legend, Summit, or Midnight front, plus a Sport or Midnight rear. The 2020-2023 trucks take a Legend or Midnight front with a Sport or Midnight rear. The 2024-2026 trucks run the Legend front and the Sport rear.
One note for 2015 and newer trucks. They carry front sensors, and the newest ones add a front camera. On the Summit, the adaptive-cruise module moves to a supplied bracket. The Midnight carries your factory sensors over. For 2020-2026 trucks, the Legend comes in more than one version, so it matches the camera and sensors you have. We confirm the right one before it ships.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I get the Legend or the Summit front for my Sierra HD?
Both are full steel fronts that bolt on. The Legend has a built-in grille guard, carries the most steel, and fits almost every year from 1988 to 2026. The Summit has no guard and weighs less, but Ranch Hand builds it for the 2015-2019 Sierra HD only. Want the guard and the widest year coverage? Go Legend. Want a clean, lighter front on a 2015-2019 truck? Go Summit.
Will these fit a Duramax, and what about the front camera on a newer truck?
Yes on the Duramax. Ranch Hand flags no diesel exclusion on the Sierra HD fronts, so a Duramax bolts up the same as a gas truck. Sensors and camera are handled by series. The 2015-2019 Summit relocates the adaptive-cruise module with a supplied bracket, and the Midnight carries your factory sensors over. The 2020-2026 Legend comes in a version that matches your truck's front setup. Check the listing for your year before you buy.
Will a Sierra 1500 bumper fit my 2500HD or 3500HD?
No. A half-ton Sierra and an HD Sierra are built on different frames, and the brackets do not match, so a 1500 bumper will not bolt to a 2500HD or 3500HD. Stay on this Sierra 2500/3500 collection. Got a half-ton? The Ranch Hand Sierra 1500 page has your fit.
