Fitment Notes for the 2019-2026 Ram 1500
This page covers the 5th-generation Dodge Ram 1500 on the all-new DT platform, launched in 2019 and continued through current model year. Bumpers labeled for 2013-2018 (4th-gen DS) do not interchange with the new platform. Verify your model year in the product listing, particularly for 2025-2026 trucks where catalog coverage is still expanding.
The 2019+ Ram 1500 Classic is the prior 4th-gen DS continued in parallel production. Despite the 1500 name, the Classic shares its frame mounting with 2009-2018 Ram 1500. Bumpers labeled for the 2019-2026 Ram 1500 do not fit the 1500 Classic. The door jamb sticker settles DT versus Classic; check it before ordering. Each product notes Classic compatibility, along with any Rebel, TRX (2021-2024 high-performance trim), or EcoDiesel exclusions and ParkSense or adaptive cruise sensor caveats.

Can a bumper for the 2019-2026 Ram 1500 (DT platform) fit the 1500 Classic?
No. The 2019-2026 Ram 1500 uses the 5th-gen DT platform with new frame mounting. The Ram 1500 Classic is the prior 4th-gen DS continued in parallel and shares frame mounting with 2009-2018 Ram 1500. DT bumpers do not fit Classic, and Classic bumpers do not fit DT. Verify your build (DT or Classic) on the door jamb sticker before ordering.
Will an aftermarket bumper work with the parking sensors and adaptive cruise on a 2019-2026 Ram 1500?
Many 2019-2026 Ram 1500 trucks come with factory ParkSense parking sensors and forward-facing radar for adaptive cruise control. Some aftermarket bumpers retain both, like the Ranch Hand Summit which keeps factory parking sensors and the adaptive cruise camera intact. Others require relocation brackets sold separately, and a few full-brushguard designs (Hammerhead X-Series for example) are not compatible with adaptive cruise radar. Are there bumpers for the 2021-2024 Ram 1500 TRX, or do I need a TRX-specific design?
TRX (2021-2024 high-performance off-road trim) requires TRX-specific bumpers. Standard 2019-2024 Ram 1500 bumpers do not fit TRX because of its widened fenders, unique fascia, additional cooling requirements, and modified sensor packaging.
