Ranch Hand FBC201BLRC Legend Front Bumper
Being a legend means being remembered as one of the best at what you did. This name wasn’t taken lightly by Ranch Hand. The company itself is legendary, as they were the first and have remained the best aftermarket truck bumper maker in the industry.
The Legend Series front bumpers for the 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500/3500 promises to keep your front-end free from any incoming damage you might come across on the highway or in the wilderness.
Here are some of the features that make the Ranch Hand Legend series one of the bumpers of all bumpers.
Crafted From The Best Materials
If diamond plate steel is used on tractor-trailers and oil rigs, why can’t it be used on your truck bumper? This type of steel has been used for years on some of the hardest working vehicles and machinery, so it’s only right that Ranch Hand utilized it in their bumpers. To make the Legend series even more durable, a huge chunk of 4” Schedule 40 piping is used as the first line of defense, should something come your way.
Making a bumper from the best materials doesn’t mean a thing if it can’t protect you when the going gets tough. The Legend series will keep your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500/3500 from getting damaged in a head-on collision. Headlights are also kept safe from any incoming objects thanks to the built-in surround. Better yet, the upper end of your front end, such as the grille and radiator won’t become another victim of an incoming wild animal or tree branch.
A bumper is just another piece of steel that is prone to rust. Luckily, powder coating is widely accepted as being one of the most durable finishes for bumpers. Unlike painting, a durable powder-coated finish will be able to stand up to much more abuse. That is why Ranch Hand powder coats each bumper that goes out in a brilliant black finish.
Installing a front bumper shouldn’t make you lose sleep at night. While some competitors require additionally cutting and welding, the Ranch Hand Legend series is engineered to go on in a few hours with just common hand tools that anyone has laying around.

Bumper is great takes about 2.5 hours to install. Only complaint is the shipping people.
The folks at Bumper Stock provided good communications, the best price and quick delivery. The bumper arrived on a pallet, well protected and without damage. I watched YouTube videos and read about how to remove the front OEM bumper. The instructions that came with the bumper were inadequate and did not address my particular truck grill which has a trim piece that connects the front side panels (note – the side panels are in-front of the quarter panels). None of the information online that I could find showed how to remove these particular front side panels. So, I called the Ranch Hand Factory and, after being on hold while they “researched my question” they stated that they were not aware that the 2021 had connected front side panels and that the bumper might not work with my truck. But, after measuring my neighbor’s truck, I decided to give it a try. After several hours of frustration and trepidation about breaking the front side panels, I went to a body shop and they showed me how to “pop them off”. Then came the grill and it was the same and I was scared I was going to break it as well. But with a loud pop, it came off just fine. Both the grill and front side panels require constant pressure, slight manipulation and a quick forceful jerk to pop them off. Everything else was pretty straight forward to remove. I must admit that I was surprised to find 7 heat exchangers packed in the front of the truck. Mounting the Legend was not too difficult (had a friend help align it and we used my jib crane). Shops charge 3-4 hours of shop time at ($90+/hr) to do all of this. It took me 10 or so hours to get it done. But, I do like wrenching. :-)
The best part was after I ordered the bumper and paid, I received a phone call to confirm I had a 2021 chevy, ..that was awesome who wants to get the wrong bumper sent to them..thank you
