What the Fab Fours Vengeance Is
The Vengeance is Fab Fours' aggressive street-and-trail bumper, the one built around a look instead of a winch. It sits high and close to the body in 11-gauge steel, and with steel the lower the gauge number, the thicker the plate. A lower cutout opens airflow to the radiator and gives bigger tires room to turn. Fab Fours cuts and welds every Vengeance from American steel in its own plant in Lancaster, South Carolina, the operation Warn Industries, the winch maker, bought in 2021 and kept right where it was. Across the trucks we ship, the Vengeance is the best-selling Fab Fours series, and it sells widest on the trucks people build to stand out, from midsize rigs like the Chevy Colorado to half-tons and off-road builds.
Why Owners Choose the Vengeance
A Vengeance turns a soft stock front end hard. The tight lines and the raised center give the truck a look it never had off the lot, and the steel behind that look is real: 11-gauge plate welded to the frame, not a factory cover that folds on the first hit. It puts the least steel up front of any Fab Fours series, so it loads the front axle far less than a plate-steel work bumper, and the ride and the steering stay close to stock.
The trade is simple. The Vengeance does not take a winch, and that is the price of the light weight and the clean lines. If you want the same look with a winch behind it, that's the Matrix. The Vengeance keeps the look, the lights, and the least weight up front.
The Vengeance Configurations, and Which to Pick
Vengeance comes in two main faces, plus a few truck-specific versions. It mostly comes down to how much steel you want over the grille.
No Guard
The stripped-down face. The bumper runs straight across with nothing over the grille, so nothing breaks the clean line, and it carries the least weight of any Vengeance.
Pre-Runner Guard
Adds a raised steel hoop over the center of the bumper, the kind desert trucks run, shielding the grille without wrapping the headlights. More steel out front and a little more weight, for a tougher, more protective face.
Tacoma High and Low Pre-Runner
On the Toyota Tacoma, the Pre-Runner comes in a high and a low version. The high hoop rides taller for a bolder look; the low one sits closer to the body for tighter trail clearance.
Open Fender
On the Super Duty and Ram HD trucks, the Open Fender version opens the corners for extra tire and fender clearance. It's for the owner running oversized tires on a heavy-duty truck.
Rear Bumpers
The Vengeance runs out back too. The rear carries the same look as the front and comes in sensor and non-sensor versions, with blind-spot-compatible variants on the newer GM trucks. A Vengeance rear finishes the truck end to end.
Lights on the Vengeance
Lighting is part of the Vengeance from the start. The center of the bumper holds a 20-inch double-row LED light bar, and each side takes a pair of cube lights, the small square off-road lamps, for up to four across the front. The bar and the cubes are sold on their own, so you set the lighting the way you want it. Wire the bar for distance down the trail and the cubes for the corners, and a bare front end lights the way at night.
What to Know Before You Buy
Fitment. Each Vengeance is cut for one truck and one year range, and it bolts to the frame with the brackets and hardware in the box, with no cutting or drilling on nearly every fitment. It's lighter than most steel bumpers, but plan on a helper and an hour or two in the driveway. The Vengeance sells across midsize trucks, half-tons, and heavy-duty; the Ford F150 and Toyota Tundra pages show two of the most popular.
Weight. On compact trucks a Vengeance front bumper runs about 65 to 75 pounds, light enough that most owners never feel it up front. Heavy-duty versions run heavier, up to around 300 pounds, since the steel scales with the truck. The exact weight is listed on each product.
Winch. The Vengeance is not built to take a winch, and that keeps it the lightest series in the lineup. If recovery is on your list, look at the Matrix instead, which carries the same look with a 12,000-pound winch mount. Everything on the Vengeance is set up to stay light.
Lights and sensors. The center takes a 20-inch light bar and the sides take up to four cube lights, all sold separately. Factory parking sensors carry over on many newer fitments and not on older ones, so read the fit notes on your exact truck and year before you order.
Finish. Every Vengeance ships in a black powder coat over smooth steel, no diamond plate. It's the clean, blacked-out look, one color, not chrome and not matched to your paint.
Value. A Vengeance is a buy-it-once bumper. Most run from about $1,400 to $2,600 depending on the truck and the face you pick, with the heaviest heavy-duty fitments a little above that and the rear bumpers around $1,570. Behind the steel is Fab Fours' limited lifetime structural warranty to the original owner. Real American steel, priced to buy one time.
Buying and shipping. BumperStock is an authorized Fab Fours dealer, so every Vengeance ships new with the factory warranty intact and free shipping across the lower 48. Not sure which face or year is right? Our team will confirm the fit before you order, and if a bumper shows up wrong for your truck, we make it right. Set the stance, wire the lights, and put the meanest face Fab Fours makes up front.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Fab Fours Vengeance winch compatible?
No. The Vengeance is not built to mount a winch, which is part of how it stays the lightest series in the lineup. If you want the same high-and-tight look with a winch behind it, the Fab Fours Matrix takes a winch up to 12,000 pounds.
How much does a Fab Fours Vengeance bumper weigh?
It's the lightest series Fab Fours builds. On compact trucks a Vengeance front bumper runs about 65 to 75 pounds, and heavy-duty versions run heavier, up to around 300 pounds, because the steel scales with the truck. The exact weight is listed on each product.
Does the Fab Fours Vengeance come as a rear bumper?
Yes. The Vengeance runs front and rear. The rear carries the same look as the front and comes in sensor and non-sensor versions, with blind-spot-compatible variants on newer GM trucks. Many owners match a Vengeance rear to the front for one look end to end.
What lights fit the Fab Fours Vengeance?
The center of the bumper holds a 20-inch double-row LED light bar, and each side takes a pair of cube lights, the small square off-road lamps, for up to four up front. The bar and cubes are sold separately, so you can set up the lighting your own way.
Should I get the Fab Fours Vengeance or the Matrix?
Both share the aggressive Fab Fours look. Go Vengeance if you want the lightest front end and do not need a winch. Go Matrix if you want that same look on thicker plate with a 12,000-pound winch mount behind it. The Vengeance is about stance and lights; the Matrix adds recovery.
Are Fab Fours Vengeance bumpers made in the USA?
Yes. Every Vengeance is cut and welded from American steel in Fab Fours' plant in Lancaster, South Carolina, and backed by a limited lifetime structural warranty to the original owner. Warn Industries, the winch maker, bought Fab Fours in 2021 and kept production right where it was.
